DISCOVER
A CLIENT WITH A NOBLE CAUSE

-
Our client was a non-profit organization with the goal of spreading awareness about climate change and contributing to environmental rejuvenation through coral-reef regeneration.

OBSERVE

A SEA OF CHALLENGE
-
There was also a dissonance between the target consumers and the belief that they were capable of making a difference by supporting this project.
-
THE MAIN ISSUE our client encountered in their work was reaching wider audiences and transforming them into full-time supporters of their project. Despite our client’s exposure, the average person just didn’t seem to be aware of the issue the project was trying to solve and educate about.

THE LANGUAGE
-
used on the website should be less technical and closer to the average person while being saturated with an emotional message that transmits the importance of the cause
THE PRODUCTS
-
the products on the website’s store should be more practical and financially attainable
THE FOCUS
-
the main focus of the website should be telling the story about coral reefs, their role in biodiversity, and climate change
THE DATA
-
the website should contain visual infographics presenting the amount of money already donated, how much more money is needed to reach goals, and where the money is being invested
THE INTERACTIVITY
-
the adopt-a-coral and adopt-a-reef programs should be more engaging and interactive for the consumers; for example the ability to monitor their growth rate, ability to name the corals, ability to choose between types of corals
-
the organization should include local communities in their workshops, events, and educational efforts
